Jobcentre Plus Redundancy Services

Redundancy: Jobcentre Plus can offer a service to employers and their employees. This includes details of alternative jobs, vacancy matching services, help to draw up CVs and general information about benefits and making claims.
The Rapid Response Service (when an employer makes 20 people or more redundant): includes a skills analysis to help identify transferable skills and training needs relevant to the local labour market; job-focused training to help individuals develop vocational skills needed in the local labour market, and an action fund to overcome individual, more short-term barriers.
